Enter the DVC Art Gallery and prepare to be mesmerized by color, creativity and originality of the student art show.

In "Time Flies," by Aliza Abrams, a sense of security is pushed away, as clocks confirm that life is short. Take the time to breathe this in and realize every second is irreplaceable. Live It as it were your last.

Sisi Chen's "Photo Shoot" displays black and white mug shots of such famous faces as Snoop Dog, Paris Hilton, Jay-Z, O.J.Simpson, Michael Jackson and many more. The viewer is left to wonder whether trouble follows success or whether the reverse is true.

An untitled piece by Seol Kee Lim gives off a tasty vibe with orange, blue, yellow, and red Twizzlers, reminiscent of underwater coral.

The college purchased three pieces to be displayed around the campus. They include "Blind Bronze Series," by Laura Van Duren; "Flowers," by Shao-Yi Lee; and "Sunset At Heather Farm," by Jenny Bogios..

The show runs through May 16. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
